a little about me…

It all started when…

a neighbour approached me to pick my brain on how to properly wash his car. He was looking to prep his summer car and get it ready to put it on the market to sell. He mentioned that he had been impressed with my level of obsession and the detailed work that I applied when washing my own vehicles in my garage. After posing several follow-up questions he pivoted and asked, “would you be interested in taking this on? And if so how much?” Those two questions caught me off guard and forced me to think outside my comfort zone..

I’ve been detailing my own cars for 20 plus years while also treating family members to the odd courtesy wash for a special occasion, but being handed the keys to someone else’s car and being asked to provide monetary value for that service lit a spark in me. Arrangements were made for the following weekend and I got to work. The best part of this experience was finding out a few weeks later that he now had a renewed love with his car after seeing it in its new condition and decided to keep it.
